After the severe winter storm last month, many of our neighbors were struggling to repair the damage to their homes and return to their normal lives. Through your generous gifts, Builders Care has donated $10,000 to Austin Habitat for Humanity’s efforts in making crucial temporary home repairs (while they await further funding for permanent repairs), and helping pay insurance deductibles.
Our initial goal from donors was to raise $2500 plus a matching $2500 donation from the Austin Infill Coalition (AIC) for a total of $5000. Yet, once again, Builders Care and the AIC blew past that goal allowing Builders Care to give twice as much as we initially planned.

It is estimated that our gift has directly helped repair the homes of six Austin families in desperate need of assistance.
Builders Care Austin and the AIC have a successful history together of giving back to our community through direct giving that meets urgent needs in our community and that also showcase how Austin builders are involved in our communities and give back.
